As we begin another school year, we’d like to give a warm welcome to our new teachers in the Division! We are so happy you chose our division and we hope you have a great year in your classrooms!

Jennifer Bryan: My name is Jennifer Bryan and this is my first year teaching. I am very excited to be teaching grade 7-8 at Ste. Rose School. I am looking forward to introducing students to new literature and exploring the worlds of math and science. I enjoy playing sports and can’t wait to get involved in coaching this season.
Jon Jonasson: I will be teaching 3, 4, 7, 8 French, 8 English, 12 Law, 11 Ag, and 7 Health at Ste. Rose School. I grew up in Arnes, MB (near Gimli) and I’m really excited to be starting this school year in Ste. Rose! So far, I like the community a lot and I can’t wait to meet people and become a part of the town!
Selista Langan: My name is Selista Langan. This is my second year teaching. This year I will be teaching grade 2 at Alonsa School. I have a passion for fitness and healthy living. I look forward to experiencing a new community and school.
Cherie Leslie: I will be teaching at École Laurier. I did my Bachelor of Arts-Advanced at the University of Manitoba. I have an advanced French major and theatre minor. I teach improve at Mecca productions. My interests include golfing, fishing, hiking, reading, acting, direction, creative writing, singing, and puppetry.
Miranda Sadler: My name is Miranda Sadler and I am so happy to be joining the Alonsa Aces for the 2017-2018 school year! I am a recent Brandon University’s Education Program, however I got my undergrad degree at UCN in Thompson! I love fishing, canoeing, and crafting in my spare time, as well as playing with my very cute bunnies! I will be teaching senior high ELA, as well as grade 10 art, and grade 11 history.
Catherine Stebeleski: My name is Catherine Stebeleski. This is my second year teaching. I took middle years’ education and will be teaching Grade 5/6 in Alonsa. I am an esthetician in my spare time, and have a passion for soccer. I also enjoy teaching Zumba and being active. I look forward to teaching here and experiencing a new community.
Bryce Unger: I was born and raised in Neepawa. I graduated from Brandon University this spring with a major in Physical Education studies and a minor in geography. In my spare time I find myself doing just about anything that is hockey related. I also enjoy many other sports, being active, and working on the farm in the summer.
Kelly Wright: Bachelor of Arts & Education. First full year position, previously taught at Gilbert Plains Collegiate. Interests include baseball, hockey, golf, basketball, music, and lots more. Teaching primarily sciences and math at Alonsa School. Looking to be school rep. for new Ste. Rose and McCreary hockey team. Hobbies include auctions and auctioneering.
