New to Alonsa School…
Sarah Doran: Hi! My name is Sarah Doran. This is my first year teaching and I am excited to be with the 7/8 class in Alonsa. I recently moved to Alonsa and am looking forward to becoming part of the community. I am happy to hear about the opportunities for curling as well. In University, I studied Math, Biology and History, so I am looking forward to teaching what I know and have learnt.
Laura Grant: This is my second year teaching, last year I taught in Lakeshore School Division at Ashern Early Years as the kindergarten teacher. I got my education degree in New Brunswick, where I was born and raised. I love working with the early years’ age, with an emphasis on Fine Arts. I grew up playing almost every sport, Rugby being my favorite. Lastly I absolutely love cats!! I currently have 4 kittens at home.
Katie Terrick-Steiner: Hello! My name is Katie Terrick-Steiner and I am very excited to be joining the Turtle River School Division. I will be teaching 5/6 at Alonsa School. I was born and raised in Dauphin MB before moving to Saskatchewan where I taught for 4 years. The past two years I lived and taught in London England. I love to travel and meet new people but I also love spending time at the cabin with my family and friends. I am looking forward to teaching back in Manitoba.
Dana Thompson: Hi there, I have just recently moved back to Alonsa after 23 years. I have spent many years in the Early Learning Centre in Shilo and managing the Centre there. I am extremely excited to get back with children! My passion is nature programming and connecting children with the outside world. I enjoy camping and ski-doing and spending time with friends and family and my new community.

New to Glenella School …
Jade Dillabaugh: My name is Jade Dillabaugh and I am thrilled to begin my teaching career here in the TRSD. I will be teaching 3/4 in Glenella for the 2018-2019 year. I am originally from Oxbow, SK but have lived in Manitoba for 6 years. My passions are literature and music; I have my Grade 9 Certificate for the Royal Conservatory of Music for piano. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing and spending time with my dog, Chewy.
Rheanna Jensen-Guenter: Hi, my name is Ms. Jensen, I am a first year teacher who will be teaching kindergarten in Glenella School. I have recently graduated from Brandon University and am originally from Wawota, Saskatchewan. I am very passionate about sports as well as art and I look forward to becoming involved with as many extra curriculars as I can.
Amber McKenzie-Cochrane: I am a new resident of Glenella and am excited to begin teaching Grades 7-12 ELA and Social Studies. I am also looking forward to coaching basketball at the school this year. My door is always open, come by my classroom for a visit!

New to Grass River School …
Duncan Lowry: I grew up in Manitou MB, studied at Brandon University. Currently teaching at Grass River Colony K-8 Phys Ed, 4-6 Math, Science and Social Studies also 7-8 STEM and Art. I enjoy playing hockey, baseball and golf also interested in other sports including football and basketball. I grew up on a cattle farm and enjoy helping out on the family farm whenever I can.
New to Ecole Laurier…
Craig Vandepoele: Hello, my name is Craig Vandepoele. I will be teaching grade 4-5 in École Laurier this year. I have a Physical Education bachelor degree and a minor in French. I enjoy sports, hunting, fishing, camping and farming. I am excited to start the school year at École Laurier.
New to McCreary School…
Tammy Gingras: Hi, I have lived in the McCreary Area my whole life. My husband and I have farmed in the area and raised our family. I am an ECE III and have worked for TRSD since April 2008 at various jobs. I enjoy reading and crafts and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to teaching Kindergarten this year!
New to Ste. Rose School…
Greg Ansett: Hi! My name is Greg Ansetett. I have spent the last two years living and teaching in London England. I will be teaching high school ELA at Ste. Rose School. I am a big Dallas Stars fan and love all things sports related. I am looking forward to getting to know the area and surrounding communities.
Katherine Dupré: Hello, I will be teaching the music/band program at the Ste. Rose School. I have a great deal of music experience and play a number of instruments. I am looking forward to getting to know the students and having a wonderful year!
Nathan Zadorozny: Hello, my name is Nathan Zadorozny. I’ll be continuing in Ste. Rose as Grade 10 homeroom teacher. I have a bachelor of Physical Education degree, followed by a degree in Education. I am a huge fan of sports, mostly focusing on basketball, golf and hockey. My favorite T.V. shows include the Office and Game of Thrones. I will be teaching Grade 7 Social Studies, Grade 8 Science, Grade 9 Science, History 30F and Exercise Science 40S. Go Oilers Go!
